A. About
1. Must be registered for mobile check deposit.
2. Must use a camera ready phone or tablet.
3. Funds are not immediately deposited into account – processed after cutoff at 8:30am and 3:00pm on business days.
B. Prepare Check
1. Verify check is completely filled out
2. Endorsement Requirements: Check must be signed and have "For Mobile Deposit Only ServU FCU" written underneath.
C. Sign into mobile device and log into ServU mobile app
D. Select "Check Deposit" located on bottom of screen
1. To: Click on the "To" field to select the account that funds will be deposited to
a. All memberships and accounts will be displayed
2. Amount: Click on the "Amount" field and type in amount of check
a. Max = your per check limit
b. Click "Done"
3. Front: Click on the "Front" field and align the 4 corners of the check with the camera
a. If auto capture is selected – picture is automatically taken
b. If manual capture is selected – tap screen to take a picture
4. Review image of check
a. Click Retake if blurry or cutoff
b. Click Keep picture if acceptable.
5. Back of Check: Click on the "Back of Check" and align the 4 corners of the check with the camera
a. If auto capture is selected – picture is automatically taken
b. If manual capture is selected – tap screen to take a picture
6. Review image of check
a. Click Retake if blurry or cutoff
b. Click Keep picture if acceptable
7. Review information is correct and select Deposit
8. Success! displays when completed
E. Possible Error Messages
1. Incorrect Amount Entered
a. Oops – The amount on the picture seems to be different from what you entered. Which is correct?
b. Select the correct option
2. Poor Picture
a. Can you clearly read the following? Routing and Account numbers
b. Click Look at picture
c. Retake picture if needed
3. Application Error
a. One of the images will be outlined in red and say "! Retake"
b. Click image and select Retake picture
c. Click deposit after picture(s) are redone
